MR. GROSSBART, ESQUIRE
Robert N. Grossbart, Esquire, is Baltimore born and bred. After graduating from Towson University with a B.S. in 1980, he became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984. Shortly thereafter, Robert was accepted by the University Of Baltimore School Of Law from which he graduated in 1986. In 1987 he was admitted to the bar of Maryland, US Tax Court, US District Court for the District of Maryland and Supreme Court of the United States of America. Robert is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA); American Bar Association (ABA); Maryland Consumer Bankruptcy Bar Association; Civil Justice, Inc.; National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA); National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and a graduate of the Max Gardner Bankruptcy Boot Camp.
Robert is committed and concentrates in the area of consumer bankruptcy rights, which include bankruptcy and bankruptcy related litigation, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act representation and Fair Credit Reporting Act representation.
MR. PORTNEY, ESQUIRE
David N. Portney concentrates in consumer bankruptcy, but also handles serious personal injury, workers compensation, criminal, divorce, and wills and estates cases. He served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Edward A. DeWaters, Chief Judge, Circuit Court for Baltimore County. He was also an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore County for two years.
Mr. Portney came to the law after establishing himself as a respected teacher and administrator in a private school in Washington, DC. He obtained a B.S. in Secondary Education from The University of Maryland, College Park, in 1972 and continued his education at George Washington University, receiving an M.A. in Special Education in1978. In 1986 he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
He is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
MR. ROSENBERG, ESQUIRE
David A. Rosenberg also concentrates in consumer bankruptcy, but has experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, criminal, and divorce. In 1994 he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law and became a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Paul E. Alpert, Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Mr. Rosenberg was born in Columbus, Ohio.
He is an active member or the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore City Bar Association.
